Buraiya Kamil (M.A) Madrasah is the only Kamil level Islamic educational institution in the district of Sunamganj. It is located at Buraiya in Dolar Bazar union of Chhatak upazila under Sunamganj district of Sylhet division. The Haqqani scholar of Buraiya Moulovi Jafor Ali (R.) established Buraiya Kamil (M.A) Madrasah in 1967 with the blessings of Spiritual persons of Buraiya Mawlana Niamot Ullah (R.), Mawlana Altafur Rahman(R.) and peer Mahmud Ali(R.).
